Meet the Architect

Darron Schmitt is a contemporary architect in the DFW area. He has owned and operated his business, RDGS Architects, since 1989 and in that time has designed hundreds of custom homes as well as commercial buildings. While Darron makes it his primary goal to deliver a design that remains as true to the client’s vision as possible, he crafts their spacial needs and stylistic preferences into a functional work of art. Drawing inspiration from buildings around the world, by architects from well-known to known, he is always working to incorporate the best design practices while maintaining congruence with each project’s specific surroundings. The majority of Darron’s work is residential, however, he has discovered a talent and market for designing luxury wedding venues in recent years. Two of his projects, Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm, TX, and D’Vine Grace Vineyard in Mckinney, TX have received acclaim for being some of the most sought after venues in the DFW area.
